Itinerary Inspo

Oslo - 1 day; arrive in the morning and spend the day walking around the city and docks

Day 2: Oslo to Flam - Take the Bergen Line from Oslo Central Station to Myrdal then transfer to Flam Railway for the Scenic Route; around 6 hours transit time to Flam (buy your tickets on Vy or Rail Ninja); on the route in you’ll stop at Rjoandefossen Waterfall as it descends down toward Flam.

Things to do in Flam:

• Brekkafossen Hike - 1.5 miles from the town plus a short hike & you’re rewarded with a waterfall and stunning views down the fjord and valley

• Viking Village at Gudvangen - take the :10min bus through the mountain to the next fjord over and discover how life was in the Viking Era; a little cheesy but the surroundings make it believable

• Stegastein Viewpoint - perched 1800 feet above the Aurlandsfjord this platform offers jaw-dropping panoramic views - plan early and book tickets in advance
